Bobbie Jo is passionate about her work supporting children, adolescents, and young adults—especially those on the autism spectrum, as well as neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ individuals. She works with her clients to help navigate challenges related to Anxiety, Depression, identity development, emotional regulation, and life transitions. She is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive space where every individual feels seen, respected, and supported in their growth.
Her approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and affirming. She integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and expressive arts to support clients in exploring their emotions, building self-awareness, and finding creative pathways to healing. Whether through drawing, movement, journaling, or other creative outlets, she encourages clients to express themselves in ways that feel authentic and empowering.
Bobbie Jo is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) with a Master’s in School Counseling and a bachelor’s in psychology from Walden University.
